Best Arcade Games

I realized the other day that I've finally read my last "Best 10 arcade games of all time" list. They're very limited, and they tend to have the same games, listed over and over. Usually I don't agree with the choices, either. The games that I've been most passionate about over the years are generally ones that don't make it onto such lists. So here, without further ado, is an off-the-cuff list of the Best Arcade Games Ever. These are the games that, had I room, I would purchase and rebuild for a home arcade, as I wouldn't get tired of playing any of them.
Early games
Non-violent games
Platform games
Fighting games
Laser disc games
Driving games
Flying game

Travel to Europe

The continent of Europe and its feel is so different than any other continent or country. The bulk of the continent is a fine mix between the narrow and paved streets from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries and the skyscrapers dominate the skies and showing the economic power of the continent and the existing nations.
Europe geographical location
Europe is largely determined by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean in the west by the Mediterranean Sea to the south and the Urals, Urals, the Caspian Sea and Black Sea to the east and southeast. Although Russia is the largest country among all European nations, its contribution to tourism is almost negligible in comparison with most Western European countries.
A brief history
Before the industrial revolution, Europe was plunged deep into the dark ages. During that time, was the exploitation of labor, the struggle for control over land and people, and corruption in the churches made life a living hell for most of the people. While the industrial revolution hit Europe in the 16th century and changed things in his head, also gave wings to art and architecture. It was not until the 16th, 17th and 18th century that great artists and philosophers of the will of Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Picasso and Galileo were born and changed the way people looked at the world around them.
Most of these men were also responsible for the establishment of various breathtaking works of art and architecture. Most of the European churches dating a few centuries and still boasts of paintings by master artists from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Places of Interest in Europe
Europe is such a beautiful continent and has so many places that can be said as a must visit. But it is almost impossible to list a few of them. But, you do not get discouraged, because we will try to pack in as much information as we can here and tell you where the rest of the information you are looking for.
Some of the major cities of Europe, Paris, Munich, Berlin, London, Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Helsinki. These are just some of the most important cities in Europe in the context of travel and tourism as well as power centers. However, it is obvious that there are many other places are as beautiful as these cities.
Paris - the capital of France, the city of love, is one of the largest travel and tourist attractions in Europe. Paris is also known as the fashion capital of the world. There is always something happening in the city and there is something for almost everyone. When in Paris, do not miss the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre (glass pyramid) and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Berlin - the beer capital of Europe and virtually all of Germany know some of the most modern fleet of trains. Apart from the huge beer Steins, Berlin has some of the finest museums and cathedrals in the world. And of course you should not miss the Berlin Wall - an important, though sad symbol of the previous decades.
Amsterdam - European Capital of pleasures, popular with his wild and free life. The city itself is very impressive, boasting ancient cathedrals, great architecture and many tourist attractions. But Amsterdam is also equally popular with kitchens and of course, Hash Brownie.
Travel in Europe
Travelling in Europe is a very pleasant surprise for most of the first timers. Almost across the continent working as a nation and apart from a few, most countries use a single currency - euro, meaning you time controls sharing only for local currency to save and spend only one currency in many European countries.
One of the most popular way to travel in Europe by Eurail. Eurail is one of the most economical means of transportation throughout Europe. Again, note that a visa issued by a European Union country holds up well in the rest of them too. So, you can use Eurail to travel between almost all European countries and enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside on the road.
You can also fly on many of the cheap, no frills flights, or use the bus service called Eurolines more than 500 European cities together. Another popular and fun way to travel between many cities in Europe by ship. There are many ferries and large ships that transport people and items in the different European cities and all that romantic luxury cruise liner.
Although, we tried to pack in as much as we could here, we have not even missed out on so much of what people can see and do in Europe as a tourist. However, we do not want you miss something, in case you were curious to Europe to find more information and make a virtual trip to Europe on the site below. Yet one can truly experience Europe as a visit only the Old Continent itself!

The Secret To Get Back Your Ex

Promising that making money on the Internet is easy for everyone, enticing and alluring advertisements on various websites often flash shiny cars, big homes and people lounging on beaches as proof that the big money is there just to be grabbed. And a lot of cash has been made and is being made, but it takes some real savvy and some high tech knowledge of the Internet and its workings. On the other hand, there are many opportunities for making money on the Internet through some not so high tech means and while a person may not get rich, a living can be garnered. The hard thing is for a person to stay away from the get rich quick schemes that promise a Ferrari in very garage and a villa in Tuscany. It's not against the law to lie on the Web and way too many websites are doing that very thing. So the first bit of advice is to stay way clear of websites that promise the moon but will leave a person's wallet empty. Making money on the Internet can be done by a person who either has a passion, a website, a talent or some seed cash, but only one on the list is needed is get started.

Whenever a person cannot stop talking about a subject or whenever someone cannot be dragged away from their workshop, or the piano or the kitchen or the garden, that person has a passion! Of all the advice that one can read about the ability for making money on the Internet, the one most valuable is the one that says "make an income doing what you love to do." Life is way too short to be slaving over a hot computer monitor all day long trying to make money from some legal but highly technical Web strategy that may or may not pan out. What greater joy could anyone have than living the simple life but doing what they love doing? The Web has provided a way for millions of people to make a tidy income living out their passion in life, but the decision has to be made whether a big salary or big satisfaction is more important.

For example, people can actually end up earn money online writing on subjects they love. Look up everything on creating a blog and get started, or a person who loves to make certain art objects can sell them online. Start a kennel and sell those beautiful puppies that you are so crazy about online to people all over the country. If a person is a minister, sell sermons online because there are plenty of pastors looking for ideas on Saturday night and what better place to go than the Web for inspiration. Start a consulting firm from home on the Internet in the field you know best; begin by writing a blog and send out newsletter to your website visitors. If a person has a passion, the Web is exactly where to go for making money on the Internet doing what a person loves doing.

If a person doesn't have a passion, then he will need a website to make income on the Web. Getting a website really isn't that difficult and there are plenty of online sources to tell a person how to do it for practically no money. Once a person has a website, there is the possibility for making money on the Internet from an affiliate network. Again, there are a number of online resources to help someone learn how to make this web strategy a money maker. Affiliate networks use the agreement among a number of websites for the right to advertise on one another's home pages in exchange for compensation when visitors do click on those ads. Given the right circumstances, a person can make a livable income. We call people foolish for various acts, but the Bible declares that one kind of person really is a fool. "The fool hath said in his heart, 'There is no God.' They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." (Psalm 14:1)

If a person doesn't have a passion, or doesn't have a website, then what about that talent you have? This is closely related to one's passion, but the internet is the perfect place to market someone's creations. A carpenter can sell a lot of products on EBay; a craft maker can do the same. A dog trainer can set up a website and offer services and a top flight mechanic can have an advice blog with plenty of advertisers to make money. Passion and talent may be two different things but they both represent natural ways for making money on the Internet.

Of course, if a person has seed money or investment capital, there are plenty of franchises that can be purchased that work mainly from the Internet. If a person is already tech savvy, an online computer consulting franchise can be had for thirty thousand dollars or an online computer repair service franchise is in the low twenty thousand range. A healthcare recruiting franchise is not much more and a franchise to help customer repair damaged credit is less than ten thousand dollars to get started. Passion, talent, a website or investment money. All of these or just one is the beginning of a possible career or an avenue to make extra income on the World Wide Web. Dream a little, investigate, learn what it will take, and go make it happen!

Time management

Eight Minute Rule

If you search the web for some knowledge with regard to adherence to life to take responsibility for yourself - then take control of your life then you're in the right place. This website will help you improve your lot in life. You will find many reports grip, getting things done with Eight Minute Rule
line by line, and more. These items will be very useful for people. This site contains many reports that will be very useful for people. People will surely gain the maximum from this website.

Developing time management skills is a journey
that may begin with this Guide, but needs practice and other guidance along the way.
One goal is to help yourself become aware of how you use your time
as one resource in organizing, prioritizing, and succeeding in your studies
in the context of competing activities of friends, work, family, etc.
First: try our exercise in time management:
How do you spend your time each day?
Strategies on using time:
These applications of time management have proven to be effective as good study habits.
As we go through each strategy, jot down an idea of what each will look like for you:
• Blocks of study time and breaks
As your school term begins and your course schedule is set, develop and plan for, blocks of study time in a typical week. Blocks ideally are around 50 minutes, but perhaps you become restless after only 30 minutes? Some difficult material may require more frequent breaks. Shorten your study blocks if necessary—but don’t forget to return to the task at hand! What you do during your break should give you an opportunity to have a snack, relax, or otherwise refresh or re-energize yourself. For example, place blocks of time when you are most productive: are you a morning person or a night owl?
 Jot down one best time block you can study. How long is it? What makes for a good break for you? Can you control the activity and return to your studies?

• Dedicated study spaces
Determine a place free from distraction (no cell phone or text messaging!) where you can maximize your concentration and be free of the distractions that friends or hobbies can bring! You should also have a back-up space that you can escape to, like the library, departmental study center, even a coffee shop where you can be anonymous. A change of venue may also bring extra resources.
 What is the best study space you can think of? What is another?

• Weekly reviews
Weekly reviews and updates are also an important strategy. Each week, like a Sunday night, review your assignments, your notes, your calendar. Be mindful that as deadlines and exams approach, your weekly routine must adapt to them!
 What is the best time in a week you can review?

Prioritize your assignments
When studying, get in the habit of beginning with the most difficult subject or task. You’ll be fresh, and have more energy to take them on when you are at your best. For more difficult courses of study, try to be flexible: for example, build in “reaction time” when you can get feedback on assignments before they are due.
 What subject has always caused you problems?

• Achieve “stage one”--get something done!
The Chinese adage of the longest journey starting with a single step has a couple of meanings: First, you launch the project! Second, by starting, you may realize that there are some things you have not planned for in your process. Details of an assignment are not always evident until you begin the assignment. Another adage is that “perfection is the enemy of good”, especially when it prevents you from starting! Given that you build in review, roughly draft your idea and get going! You will have time to edit and develop later.
 What is a first step you can identify for an assignment to get yourself started?

• Postpone unnecessary activities until the work is done!
Postpone tasks or routines that can be put off until your school work is finished!
This can be the most difficult challenge of time management. As learners we always meet unexpected opportunities that look appealing, then result in poor performance on a test, on a paper, or in preparation for a task. Distracting activities will be more enjoyable later without the pressure of the test, assignment, etc. hanging over your head. Think in terms of pride of accomplishment. Instead of saying “no” learn to say “later”.
 What is one distraction that causes you to stop studying?

• Identify resources to help you
Are there tutors? An “expert friend”? Have you tried a keyword search on the Internet to get better explanations? Are there specialists in the library that can point you to resources? What about professionals and professional organizations. Using outside resources can save you time and energy, and solve problems.
 Write down three examples for that difficult subject above?
Be as specific as possible.

• Use your free time wisely
Think of times when you can study "bits" as when walking, riding the bus, etc. Perhaps you’ve got music to listen to for your course in music appreciation, or drills in language learning? If you are walking or biking to school, when best to listen? Perhaps you are in a line waiting? Perfect for routine tasks like flash cards, or if you can concentrate, to read or review a chapter. The bottom line is to put your time to good use.
 What is one example of applying free time to your studies?

• Review notes and readings just before class
This may prompt a question or two about something you don’t quite understand, to ask about in class, or after. It also demonstrates to your teacher that you are interested and have prepared.
 How would you make time to review?
Is there free time you can use?

• Review lecture notes just after class
Then review lecture material immediately after class.
The first 24 hours are critical. Forgetting is greatest within 24 hours without review!
 How would you do this?
Is there free time you can use?
Review your ten applications above.
Select one, and develop a new study habit.
Try something you have a good chance of following through and accomplishing. Nothing succeeds like a first successful try!
Try the University of Minnesota's Assignment Calculator
Develop criteria for adjusting your schedule
to meet both your academic and non-academic needs
Effective aids:
• Create a simple "To Do list"
This simple program will help you identify a few items, the reason for doing them, a timeline for getting them done, and then printing this simple list and posting it for reminders.
Daily/weekly planner
Write down appointments, classes, and meetings on a chronological log book or chart.
If you are more visual, sketch out your schedule
First thing in the morning, check what's ahead for the day
always go to sleep knowing you're prepared for tomorrow
• Long term planner
Use a monthly chart so that you can plan ahead.
Long term planners will also serve as a reminder to constructively plan time for yourself

"Contest: Organized or Messy Desk - Which is Better?"

"Contest: Organized or Messy Desk - Which is Better?"

I am a Grade III teacher for 6 years in the Department of Education, Oroquieta City Division. We have experienced different leaders in our system however, I could not forget our former Assistant Schools Division Superintent in our Division who inspired us saying that " A teacher who has a messy desk and brings a bag which has full of instructional materials is an efficient and effective teacher". I remembered her because of this contest "Organized or Messy Desk - Which is Better?". I am very inspired to share my story and opinion of this debate because I am 100% agree to what our former Assistant Schools Division Superintendent said. And aside from that, I want to join in this debate for we can hit two birds using one stone at a time.

For me, I agree with the opinion that an employee who has a messy desk is better than who has an organized desk. This is really very true pertaining to our job as educator to school children. I can prove this during the unannounced visit of our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent in our school. At that time, I was chosen to be observed on my teaching strategies and techniques using TLOC(Teachers Learners Observation Chart). I really felt nervous because having observed by the Superintendent is not really easy for we must be prepared from the lesson plan to the appropriateness of the strategies applied for our pupils. But because of my MESSY TEACHER'S TABLE, I was appreciated and recognized. It was really an amazing experience for me which I cannot believe at first. I was told by our Assistant Superintendent that "IF SHE CAN FIND 20 TEACHERS LIKE ME, SHE WILL NOT RETIRE". How glad and inspired I was! She added that, my messy teacher's table which had placed by my various and enormous instructional materials proved that I am an efficient and effective teacher. I was very encouraged of the praises I got not only from her but also from the other administrators who went with her at that time and challenged me to continue the good spirit of teaching religiously and effectively.

Now, I am blessed to have assigned in the central school handling the Section 1 pupils (homogeneous) and continue my journey to develop young minds into a better and useful citizen in the country someday.

Get a free laptop

Laptop computers for free is real. Only you need to find genuine offers. That’s what we are helping with.
Have you noticed that free laptop computers are beginning to dictate what happens in the classroom? Additionally, mobile technology is changing where learning takes place. This is especially true as free laptops computers are entering the educational arena in ever increasing numbers.
Professors actively engaged in education via technology see laptops computers as a way to give real life experiences to otherwise insipid theories. For instance, physics students can witness the breakdown of radioactive materials, math students can apply their knowledge of logic to projects that use spreadsheets, and English majors can evaluate peers’ poetry and prose. With free laptop computers in the classroom, access to additional information and knowledge is readily available.
This has inspired many donors to start giving free laptop computers to students. Some don’t even set any condition such as grades or course programs. Free notebooks computers are just given to all students in a certain class of the school.
