Dustin Hamilton
DUSTIN HAMILTON joined LeGros Buchanan & Paul as an associate in March 2009, and is engaged in various aspects of both the litigation and transactional components of the Firm’s practice areas.
Dustin started his maritime career as a United States Navy Deep Sea Diver, primarily doing salvage and ship’s husbandry work throughout the North Pacific. He transitioned into the U.S. Navy Reserves and worked as an underwater ordnance disposal diver, and subsequently spent several years in the commercial fishing industry, primarily in the Pacific Northwest and Bering Sea region of Alaska.
Dustin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington in 2003. In 2008, Dustin received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude. During law school, Dustin interned at a local law firm engaged in a varied civil litigation practice involving both plaintiff and defense work. Dustin also held an externship with the Honorable Richard F. McDermott at King County Superior Court in Seattle. Dustin is proud to have been part of Seattle University's Access to Justice Program and continues his commitment to public service by supporting opportunities for access to justice through community programs.
